Waseda University Student Dormitories

We will answer some of the frequently asked questions.

Q.1
In there anything that I shoud consider before applying the dormitory?

In the student dormitory, since this is a space for communal living, the enviroment will be different from your current living enviroment. Since students with diverse perspectives gather at WISH from loclal areas of Japan and around the world, please consider that community life is different from living alone before applying the dormitory.

【Ex.Waseda International Student House (WISH)】
In principle, four (or three or two in some cases) people make one unit sharing one living room. The Resident may hear living noise, etc. as rooms are fitted with vent holes for natural ventilation and this is a space for communal life. Thus, unit room sessions are regularly carried out, to which all unit residents shall participate and discuss rules within the unit. However please note that daily life noises etc. can be heard unlike in case of living in the apartment or condominium building.
